what is the difference between a ceiling fan and table fan in regard to blade strructure and principle?
I read that a ceiling fan moves air along the direction of its axis,however,table fans move air from left to right.....then why are thei blades turned downwards?(BESIDE THE WIND CHILL EFFECT,ceiling fans also cool a room by moving hot air up.....DOES THE TABLE FAN OPERATE ONLY BASED ON WIND CHILL EFFECT?)
Also,what is the significance of the fact that in a table fan,the inside part (hub)rotates,whereas in a ceiling fan,the outer part (blades )rotate?
(P.S Wind chill effect os when the moving air cause partil vacuum and causes sweat to evaporate)

There is no difference in blade structure and working principle.
The difference is in the way how their bearings are loaded.
The ceiling fan bearings are under thrust (because of their hanging) where as the table fan bearing has radial load.
