Denver Alcohol Burning Fireplaces: The Cleaner, Greener Alternative
As you know, traditional Denver fireplaces are not particularly eco-friendly. They give off billows of smoke, leave creosote behind, and waste about eighty percent of the heat produced. In fact, a new house cannot even have a wood-burning Denver fireplace anymore under new building codes. Older houses may be "grandfathered" in, but even so, woodburning fireplaces have a number of disadvantages when it comes to fuel (firewood can be expensive) and maintenance (the creosote that builds up on the inside of chimneys requires regular attention from a chimney sweep, and can pose a serious fire risk if not attended to).
A common alternative that has been available for many years is gas fireplaces; Denver homes built after the 1970s usually have these. However, if you do not have gas lines running to your house, this is not a good alternative without considerable expense. Stove inserts that run on specially formulated wood pellets and equipped with catalytic converters (similar to those on motor vehicles) are another alternative to wood and gas fireplaces. Denver homes now have yet a third option, however.
A Denver alcohol burning fireplace is a cleaner burning alternative that saves on energy bills even as it saves resources and the environment. Denver alcohol burning fireplaces use clean burning ethanol (the same corn-based fuel added to gasoline in order to reduce air pollution). The only waste product released into the atmosphere by a Denver alcohol burning fireplace is water vapor and CO2.
At the same time, Denver alcohol burning fireplaces do a much better job of keeping you warm at night. Unlike the picturesque and charming, but wasteful and inefficient wood-burning Denver fireplace, the Denver alcohol burning fireplace actually heats the room. Furthermore, because they are so clean-burning, Denver alcohol burning fireplaces require little in the way of maintenance – there is no creosote, since there is no chimney – just the usual vent.
Installing a Denver alcohol burning fireplace is quite simple, since no flue nor extra pipes are required. Denver alcohol burning fireplaces give off no fumes and use an ecologically sound, renewable fuel – plus, they give off plenty of heat, meaning you get a lot of "bang" for your buck. Although they are more expensive than wood and gas burning Denver fireplaces, they easily pay for themselves in terms of low maintenance costs, utility savings and more.

Is it ever environmentally friendly to burn household waste rather than recycling?
What sorts of waste cannot be recycled?
Always recycle things that can be recycled. Food and stuff if you can be bothered have a compost heap. Landfill could be a problem, but burning certain things does as much harm sometimes.
