A/C compressor Turns on and then shuts back off withing 20 seconds?
When you turn the air conditoner on to cool the compressor light turns and and quickly shuts off in 20 seconds but for some reason the compresser fan keeps working.
Thermal protection, go look and see if there is allot of dirt in the inside evaporator coils, you will need to hose this out by back flushing
If this is a window air conditioner, you need to remove it from the window, and either put it into the tub or in your back yard to back flush it, it would be on the outside portion inside where your compressor fan is, not the inside front blower fan
