Countertops Brackets and How to Choose Them
If your countertop has a considerable overhang, you need to support it with countertop brackets. Countertops, especially those made of stones are quite heavy. Granite, marble and limestone are also naturally brittle and they need adequate support to protect them from accidental breakage. Even wood brackets can be designed to support stone countertops but they have to be bigger than the steel supports to be able to carry that heavy load.
