How To Install Golf Cart Lift Kit
Never matter if you buy a used golf cart at cheaper rates, you can modify it to look the way you always dreamt of. With the help of a golf cart lift kit, you can easily lift the height of your cart and improve the suspension of your vehicle to acquire the appearance that you wish to. With a heavy duty and quality lift kit to do the task, you can easily uplift the front, rear or any part of your cart to get the appropriate height you need.
Depending upon the brand of lift kit you have with you, the size or inches of uplift would differ. While some golfers love to improve the suspension of their cart to provide their vehicle with more powerful terrain capability, some others love to increase the height of their cart to give more elegance and look to their cart. By increasing the suspension of your cart with the help of the lift kits, you can make more space to hold larger tires of branded manufacturers. You can increase the performance or power of driving your cart through harsh surfaces and steeps by using large tires. By lifting the height of your cart, you can give space to large tires that are capable of riding through rough ways. This way, you can use your cart on hilly areas of the course as well as for various commercial and personal applications. They can be then used for a variety of purposes without breaking down. Since the standard sized golf carts are not designed for high speed driving, you can replace the tires to put your cart to more needs.
Installing the lift kits on the golf cart is pretty easy. You should first put your cart on a stationary and solid surface and then make sure that the cart is jacked up to hold the weight when replacing the tires. Make sure that the cart is well supported. When replacing the parts, make sure you keep the bolts, cotter pins and bearing at the same place afterwards. The lift kits may or may not include bolt-on-parts.

how do you remove the passenger wheel hub on a 2004 chevy malibu?
we took out the 3 bolts holding the hub into place and we used a slap hammer to remove it but it still wont come off. we think there is a cotter pin holding it in place. any input?

Nope, no cotter pins involved either way.
If you're talking about the front hub and bearing assembly, you need to use a puller to push (I know, the terminology is bass-ackwards) the halfshaft out of the hub, just enough so they're not binding on each other. A tool like the one pictured at the top of this page;

No need to disconnect the ball joint, as you don't need to take the halfshaft all the way out. If it's still sticking after that, a whack or 2 on the outside rim of the hub should knock it loose. No need to come in from behind it, and besides, that would be hard to do with the halfshaft in the way, right?
However, if you're talking about the rear wheel's hub and bearing assembly, then you missed a retaining bolt. Actually, a nut and bolt setup. There are 4, not 3.

btw, there's no "spindle" either way. The rear simply has nothing even resembling one, and the closest thing on the front would be the outter end of the halfshaft. But it's really not a spindle.A spindle is a stationary part that a wheel bearing is mounted to, on a non-driven wheel. What Country Boy is referring to is called the "steering knuckle".
