From the moment I lost my job, things started going downhill in our household. The money got a little tighter, and my wife lost most of the respect for me that she had managed to retain after long years of marriage. The children started plotting to blow me up. But the coupons saved us. My wife loves food. And she loves to save money. She had thought that we could combine the two when I became a house husband. I could, she thought, make food myself and save money that way. I could also pore over the local paper's ads and clip coupons. But every time I made food, one or the other of the kids complained.

So that lost its appeal rather quickly. And it turned out that I was too lazy to clip coupons. So what to do? It was then that I found out about online coupons. So now things are happy in our house again. My wife gets to enjoy food on a fairly regular basis. We can get different kinds of food for each kid. Best of all, from my point of view, my wife thinks I've really contributed to the family fortune by finding this gift from heaven.

How do you save a ton by using coupons?
I've seen on tv before people buying $100 dollars worth of groceries and products and paying nothing or just a couple dollars. I clip coupons, but can never figure out how to really save a ton. Does anyone have any good coupon saving tips?

It's not just using the coupons, but using the right coupon when that item is on sale. For example, I bought some Kotex item, it was on sale for $1 +tax. I had a coupon for $1 off any Kotex item. So I only paid 7 cents for the tax.
Also buy one get one coupons are great savers if the item is expensive. But be careful with those because sometimes it will say "Buy one get one Free! Up to $3.89" so if it's a $5 item, you will only get back $3.89, so the second item isn't REALLY free.
Also getting coupons off the internet is very helpful! Almost any company will give you coupons if it means you'll buy their merchandise.
I saved about $32 on groceries last night, so just keep cutting those coupons! Good luck!
