A valentines day it was
ON THE VALENTINES DAY:
So if you thought like everybody else that didn't have any real plans for the day and decided to waste away the day with yourself or that other friend of yours that had a nice movie in their room or that ‘just a friend' that you narrated to about how you were to miss out on this valentines day and ended up spending some good time with them and gave a friendly flower when you were about to leave, then you wasted the day.
Like so many of us I too didn't have a date! And as was the plan for the day I had to spend the entire day attending lectures and latter on spend the remaining time sharing with my face book friends-those virtual friends who are always there to give you company whenever you feel like sharing with anyone-LONG LIVE FB.
I read an article on the Valentines Day morning and this changed my mind and in that case my day wasn't going to go the way I had earlier planned…Yes valentines day comes only but once in a year, and of course it is universally celebrated!...it is a romantic day… a day to show love to that lady in your live.
Cooking up a quick workable plan has always been a problem but whenever I involve my roommate Dan (a.k.a. DANZ that's what we call him,) there will always be a plan-of course if you don't want to mention workable here-.
By the time the day was nearly half gone, things were working. There was a full house in our room…PARTY TIME IT WAS. We had invited a good number of friends and there were enough ladies too, the dress code was to go without saying. Four guys and four ladies was a good number or so we thought.
" This is Kate and Kate this is Mike" Mike introduced his friend to me…I had asked him to earlier. "Hi Kate" I said stretching my hand. "You both play Chess maybe you can get to know each other." Mike was doing it perfect "I better get a drink for myself" He said as he rose to give us space
By six in the evening I finally was having a real conversation with Kate… I had seen her occasionally but hadn't had anything like half a chance to even say my name. We all went for a walk around had some moonlight pairings in the open.
We had an evening dance and talked a lot through out the night…I GUESS IT IS GOOD ENOUGH WHEN YOU MEET SOMEONE YOU'VE ALWAYS HAD AN EYE ON ESPECIALLY ON A ROMANTIC DAY LIKE YESTERDAY (VALENTINES DAY.)
"Am expecting a flower from You…for yesterday" she called me in the morning. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY…I am headed to her room!
