What is an average electricity and gas bill for a 2-br London flat?
We are on Dual Fuel with EDF and get savings for that and for Direct Debit. Our first bills for 12-October through 22-November were ₤30 electricity and ₤90 gas!!
We have kitchen-sitting room-separate bath & WC-2 BR-2 people total. Are these reasonable rates? I am shocked and frightened for the coming winter.

I am with EDF dual fuel although not on Direct debit..
we have a two bed flat with 2 people and we pay £20 per month on elec and £15 a month for Gas. But we have a lot of sun in the day time and the oven which is elec heats up the house a fair amount so i suppose it depends on how you use yours.
I would give them a call and get them to go through it with you. That's what I did and actually found that they were estimating my gas too high and now I only pay about £8 per month.
we are also on a card payment monthly scheme so I don't know if that makes any difference to prices etc but I was shocked at how much we were paying when we first moved in and I knew it was far too much. I don't like having bills every 3 months either !

Even using elec a lot or putting your gas heat on every day should NOT come to £100 every month. Not for two people in a two bedroom flat!! Unless you keep your heat on all day every day and leave on all your lights??
If your both at work then you will use less.
Set up your timer for the heat to come on 30 mins before you get home and turn down the thermostat.
Easy. I have never seen a two bed flat have £100 bills for gas AND elec!|!! If you have kids and are at home a lot then yes maybe but shouldn't be that high otherwise. So the answerer below if your in the USA and have answered you have no idea, If you got your info from some iffy website it's wrong.
