Designing/Assembling a CHILLER water refrigeration for ar conticioning. Expansion valve? HELP PLEASE?
I need assembly a chiller for cooling water, the water flow rate is 8500 liter per hour, the water will enter at 18 oC and leave at 8 oC. I want to assembly it with brazed plate heat exchanger both the condenser and the evaporator. I'm using R-404a refrigerant.
How to choose/size/calculate the correct brazed plate HE? Like an Alfa Laval plate? Or anyother manufacturer? I dont want the flatplate.com

normally your condenser load is going to be about 15-25% greater than your cooler load
so maybe around 34 ton tower but for sizing you would need to get the ASHRE phycometric conditions where you are located at for proper sizing.
A thirty ton valve would suite you
