Do Tesla Coils NEED Spark Gaps And Capacitors? - Generating Free Electricity For Your Home
I've seen some schematics of Tesla coils, and I noticed that they had capacitors and a spark gap at the primary coil of the last transformer, are these absolutely needed and why? In order to understand why Tesla Coils use spark gaps and capacitors, you need to understand more about resonance. So you might want to do some research into that when you have a chance. (Although not all Tesla Coils use spark gaps).

Tesla Coils use resonance to generate very high voltage at high frequency. The goal is to balance what's known as inductive reactance and capacitive reactance. It's almost like tuning a radio. If you've ever taken apart an old radio, you would see that the tuning knob turns a small capacitor. This adjusts the capacitance so that the circuit resonates at a certain frequency. That's how a radio lets you selectively pick out one channel but block out others. You can thank the inventor Nikola Tesla for that, by the way.
Whenever you pass alternating current through a coil of wire, you get a form of resistance called inductive reactance. The magnetic field from the alternating current actually induces an opposing current back into the wire. Capacitors also have a form of resistance called capacitive reactance. The funny thing is that inductive reactance and capacitive reactance can cancel each other out. When that happens, you get a resonant circuit. The energy is constantly bouncing back and forth between the magnetic field around the coil and the charge in the capacitor. With a Tesla Coil, the energy is amplified to very high voltage at high frequency.
That's why you need a capacitor on the primary circuit. The spark gap also helps to tune the circuit. It works like a semi conducting switch, firing the charge from the capacitor into the primary winding at just the right time. I hope people don't consider this spamming, but if you want I have several videos on my YouTube page that show more about Tesla Coils, including a 2-part video showing how to build one.
Tesla coils are exactly that a coil. Just like a transformer it operates on a changing voltage such as AC, So to generate the changing voltage sometimes they use a charge cap and a spark gap. Be careful with these things, they can hurt you. For one of my customers I design High Voltage Cascades (100KV), Tesla coils can hit the 1MV range. I am not a big fan of Tesla, he was about to microwave the entire world with his free energy project.
There is this e-book that contains step-by-step directives on how to build a Tesla Generator. The guide is known as: Tesla Secret. Since the publication of The Tesla Secret Handbook, 1000s of people allover the world have used it to build their own personal Tesla Generators and are now powering their homes for free!
Do you want to learn how you too can generate free electricity to power your house at no cost? If yes, then you need to download a copy of the Tesla Secret Handbook.

Teeth gap, can i fill it? Or do I have to get a cap?
okay so here is the fabulous example picture i drew for my question:

I know i am a very talented artist:P haha, anyway
Anyway, you see how the front two teeth are kinda like separated at the bottom? well its a bit of an exaggeration but thats basically how my teeth are somewhat... anyway is there anyway I can make the bottom flat other than shaving them shorter or getting like a whole new tooth? And don't say that they are perfectly fine, cause if I wanted that answer I could have just asked my mom:P
i dont know
