How to change and oil and do a right gas+oil mix for 70HP Outboard engine on my boat?
Hi i have 1977 18" Renken Sport-Craft Boat with 70HP Sea-Horshe Outboard Engine.I dont know nothing about it because i was bought it and never use.Now i need to change a oil and filters if needed but dont know how 
....and im just wondering what % mix gas and oil i need to use to make gas right for my engine...and what kind of oil and gas?Thank you
Your engine is a 2 cycle outboard and as such it's not like your car engine. It doesn't have an oil crankcase, thus no filter. The engine gets all of it's lubrication from mixing one pint of "outboard oil" check for TCW-3 on the container, with 6 gal. of unleaded 87 or 89 octane gas.
There is a lower unit gear oil in the lower unit. There are two screws in this area that are used to drain and refill this gear case with lower unit oil. it takes about 35 oz. of this special oil.There is a water pump impeller in the engine that is neoprene that should be changed every 3-4 years.
