What is the world golf hall of fame

World Golf Hall of Fame is located in the World Golf Village in Augustine in Florida.It is a special memorial founded by the American Professional Golfer Association Tour to commemorate those public figures who hastened the golf development with outstanding contributions, and incented all the golfers and lovers throughout the world. The famous star Carey was invited as the "global golf ambassador."    Before 1998, Hall of Fame had been arranged in Pinehurst Golf Course in north Carolina.

In 1998, the PGA Tour in Jackson construct a permanent memorial buildings besides the Orlando highway Nashville. And then the Hall of Fame moved here.

Seen from the highway, the high trophy towers stands up about 110 feet (33 meters)among the buildings of the Hall of Fame.

Main buildings of the Hall of Fame is as high as two-stories and each single-deck is of an estimated 3,000 square meters.

The pedestrian space to the main buildings of the Hall of Fame is paved with the gray brick slabs, on the surface of which is engraved with the world famous golf personage's name.

There are two core parts and a special parts in the Hall of Fame. The first core is located on the second floor of the "Shell Room" , and the second is trophy towers.

In the "Shell Room", there is a brass plate. And inside the hall on its one side wall was lined up neatly and inscribed with the names of Hall of Fame, and its number is currently altogether, 126.

On the roof of the third floor of the Trophy Towers hangs the crystal bars arranged in a spiral, on which are engraved with the name of 126 people. And above the roof of the way opens a skylight, so the sunshine can shine crystal bars reflecting the sheen life of those excellent golf personages. The brightness of the names of their life goes through space-time, and becomes the model for the others to learn and imitate.

The special section which is located in a two-story between is "celebrity  wardrobe exhibition room".

All the celebrities who has lived in the Hall of Fame have a lockers which belong to themselves. Most of the celebrities have put themselves once used golf bags or other items ( shoes, balls, gloves, ball seat, etc.)in the closet, such as NiKe LaoSi, Palmer, Peter DaiYi, Cary Player, Nick Faldo, etc.

For those celebrities who have been already dead (such as o lister Mackenzie relaxes, Donald Ross, etc), the Hall of Fame workers will go to contact their posterity, and obtain some objects they ever use and put back here.
