I have 2 1 1/2 inch center cut pork chops, and no oven, how long would I sear them for or pan fry?

Do what Jo said, THEN you have to cook them. Once they are seared like she said, put a lid on them and turn the heat down, add a bit of water and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes. 3 minutes on one side and 2 on the other WON'T cook a thick porkchop all the way.
