First Steps with Magnetic Sponsoring
Well, you've gone and bought the wonderful "Magnetic Sponsoring" book and you've read it through a few times. You think you're catching on, but if you're like me you really don't get the nuts & Bolts of it all.
Probably the first thing to realise is you don't need to chase prospects or even be needing for them. You are a professional and you need to "screen" your people for the ones who are to be allowed to join your team.Yes, you may feel like you're turning away business, but for long term business success, you need to forget about the "quick" bonus check and think about attracting leaders who will stick around and build a million dollar business.
Time to become a professional!
First things first! Lose the company generated, cookie cutter website that was given to you when you joined!
Even if you're not tech savvy, you can create your very own website using the many tools that are out there. Most of those websites brand and promote the company, but we need to think of branding ourselves. Register your own domain which is simple and cheap. This becomes your brand and get hosting for your very own website. One of the simplest platforms is WordPress which is a very easy to work with piece of software and a lot of hosting companies have scripts to auto install it on your own domain.
There are also some very good "lead generation systems" out there with pre made marketing funnels that can give you a quick start on your marketing efforts. For example: My MLM is a Nutritional/Health company and I'm a fantastic cook. I'm running a recipe/company news website and have another website where I'm offeringhelp for struggling network marketers no matter which company they're with. The whole purpose of all this is I'm positioning myself to be the "go to guy" for marketing and health and nutrition.
In order to "brand yourself" as it were, you'd need to understand what your passions are. Whatever it is you like to do, relate it to your networking business or pick a networking business that's related to what you like to do. Then start a website or blog and become the go to guy or go to girl for whatever your subject matter is.
What will work best is to make a website or blog that fits both with your passion and your networking business. As you add to your value to the public, they'll search you out as a person who's an authority in your niche and then will want to work with you!

Why am i a magnet for crazy people?
Can someone tell me why I attract crazy people. All my 'friends' have serious mental issues. My last girlfriend had bipolar disorder. My best friend in high school had an almost complete inability to function in society. I have not seen her recently, however, the last time I saw her, she was pregnant with her third child by a man who THINKS HE'S A VAMPIRE!!! She lets him suck her blood!!! What is it about me that attracts nut cases?? I do not have any mental issues, save for mild depression. It is also very hard to extricate myself from these situations. What can I do to stay away from these types of people??
What role do you play in these relationships?. What do you get out of it? You are getting something out of this. Do you have a need to help people? Do you have a need to feel better about yourself? Do you have a need for drama? Something is missing in your life Find yourself a dark corner and meditate on these question then maybe you can understand why you are holding a red flag for these people.
