Many Industries Use Industrial Magnets
From the tiniest magnets inside processing machines to the massive electromagnets that can lift iron beams, major industries use industrial magnets to purify and protect. Various configurations of magnets are used in processing plants, coalmines, and manufacturing processes to remove ferrous materials that cause damage to machines or people, and contaminate the final product. In the mining, food and pharmaceutical, plastic and glass manufacturing, and powder and ceramic handling industries, magnets are placed strategically so that every raw material is purified multiple times, and all bits of foreign matter are removed.
Coal ore is purified, and contaminants that cause large particle pollution are removed as the raw ore passes through wet drum separators to remove the finest particles from extremely large quantities of ore. Drum magnets remove chards from free-flowing bulk matter. Over-band separators are used to remove tramp metal from the conveyor below. With each progressive application of a powerful magnetic field, foreign materials are separated from the coal.
Powder and ceramic handling has become increasingly important to other industries that use these raw materials in products. Foreign matter that is miniscule in size must be removed prior to releasing these materials to the processors who rely on absolute purity in the product. A combination of suspended magnets over the conveyors and plate magnets beneath the conveyor belts remove every bit of ferrous material.
Glass and plastic manufacturing plants produce the perfect products that seem invisible to the human eye unless there is a flaw. The sand for glass must be completely free of any shred of metal that would appear in the final product, and varieties of industrial magnets are used to accomplish this feat. Disc separators remove impurities from large quantities of materials that pass through multiple stages within the machine. Induced roll magnetic separators pull contaminants in the opposite direction from the flow of product at the final bend of the conveyor belt. A plate magnet extends the angle, retains the ferrous material, and then releases all the contaminants into a bin for final disposal while the purified material proceeds to the next process.
Pharmaceutical and food producers rely on strong industrial magnets to purify raw ingredients that make their final products for people all over the world to consume. One encounter with a foreign object can close down production lines and result in failed health inspections. Bullet separators remove contaminants from all sides of a stream of raw material, and are most effective in the purification of grains. Magnetic grids and tubes are set in succession to ensure nothing foreign proceeds down the manufacturing line. Magnetic drum separators are also used in food processing plants for the enormous quantities of raw materials entering the plants.
Without industrial magnets, every item purchased would require careful inspection to prevent injury. Every industry depends on expert design and the use of magnets to produce extremely large quantities of high-quality products. Inspections are conducted consistently to ensure purity, and problems are addressed immediately.

i just bought a yamato 11 in 1 magnetic screwdriver, i just unpacked it and put a screwdriver bit in it?
it was pulled inside with the force of the magnet present in there. I pulled out the bit and inserted another one but this time when i pulled it out the magnet also came out of the casing, is it a manufacturing defect or can the magnet be placed back in there??. there is a small knurling done on the tube. i wonder it might be opened up to fix the magnet...
please help!!
Return it! I'm not familar with this screwdriver, but I'm certain the magnet should not come out when you remove the tips.
