The thought of an Iron Door may bring to mind an austere and uninviting structure most likely found in high security areas. However, a door constructed of iron can be very beautiful and ornate and actually have an inviting presence, particularly in a home. Furthermore, iron doors can add value to a home or business not only because of their aesthetic qualities but also because of the added security, they give to a home or property. In fact, these doors may be customized to fit within the available space as well as to suit each individual's personal style and home décor.
Not only do you choose the style of the door, but you build it from the ground up, putting together the door's color, hardware and glass options. For instance, colors common to iron doors include brushed copper, brushed gold, flat black, and pewter although many other may be available depending upon the company building the door. Glass options may include those that have Aquatex, Flemish, rain or solar bronze effects that are not only safe but also allow for privacy.
An Iron Door is a totally unique structure for a home because each one is usually handcrafted in addition to being customized according to order.
