Types of Plastic Cosmetic Packaging
Amongst many options in packaging material, plastic is a top favorite because of its many benefits. Plastic was the most preferred material for packaging cosmetic products even at a time when the issue of plastic pollution was at its zenith. It continues to be the most widely used packaging material today with bio-degradable and recyclable plastics replacing earlier plastics. Cosmetics manufacturers, cosmetic packaging manufacturers and customers prefer plastic cosmetic packaging for various reasons, including: afford ability, durability, light weight, versatile sealing methods, flexibility, versatile packaging methods, water-resistance, tear resistance, shatter resistance, ease of manufacture, color versatility and ease of storage and transportation. Of these benefits, let us focus on the different packaging methods possible with plastic:
Versatility in Packaging Methods
Standard packaging and custom packaging are the two broad divisions of plastic packaging. Standard packaging refers to common packaging such as bottles, containers, bags, foam sheets, bubble wrap, cling film and so on. Customized packaging, on the other hand, refers to the packaging made for a specific type of product. The different types of packaging possible with plastic allow cosmetic manufacturers to wrap products beautifully, neatly and in attractive styles. Since some products need to be wrapped differently and more carefully than others in order to avoid contamination, deformation, corrosion, breaking, damage due to weather and so on, the various packaging options available make things much easier for cosmetics manufacturers. The different types of packaging are:

Sachets - Sachets are small disposable bags containing a single-use quantity of any cosmetic material such as shampoo, body lotion, face cream and so on.

Skin Packaging - In skin packaging, the product or products are placed on a paperboard or pre-made tray and then sealed with a thin and transparent plastic sheet. The paperboard normally has a heat-seal coating. For a firm fit, vacuum is also used. Skin packaging is used to hold cosmetics such as perfume bottles.

Blister Packs - Blister packs are used for small cosmetic products such as eye pencils. A blister pack consists of a cavity or pocket made of plastic and a lidding (check spelling) made from paper, paperboard or plastic. The product is placed in the cavity and is then sealed on the paper or paperboard.

Clamshell - The clamshell offers a more secure kind of packaging. Two pre-formed plastic sheets or one sheet folded in half are fused at the edges.

Shrink Wrapping - Polymer plastic film is used for shrink wrapping. When heat is applied after covering a product with the plastic film, the clear plastic shrinks tightly around the shape of the product. It is generally used as an overwrap on other types of cosmetic packaging such as cartons, boxes and so on. Shrink wrapping protects the product and at the same time displays the item within for customers to see. Shrink wrapping is favored by cosmetics manufacturers and cosmetic packaging manufacturers as it makes the products look ‘factory-fresh' even after they have been picked up and examined by thousands of customers.

Pouches / Bags - Pouches are small or medium sized containers for holding products. For instance, some manufacturers provide products for eye make-up in a pouch, making it easy for the customers to hold and carry the product. Lotions of different fragrances in visually appealing airless pump bottles are sometimes provided in bags as part of promotional drives.

Package Heat Pump Electricial Question?
I have a package 3 ton Goodman Heat pump with elec aux heating strips that I am installing in my home. I have an existing 3 ton unit that I installed used. My question is this, what kinda wiring do I need to run the first 220 compressor and fan? And other to run the aux heat strips?
I have it hooked up about 15 feet from the breaker box with 10/2 wiring and I was told this is wrong? I want to run the new unit about 35 feet from the breaker box wiring ideas? Thanks
This is a complete package "all in one" outside unit. I was told that I should use 6/2 wire or 8/2 dont know if I need to for safety or not?
As the other poster said there should be a nameplate on the unit showing the amp rating for it and the aux electric heater package that was added most likely wires on its own. It should also have a nameplate.
Get advice from a qualified electrician armed with that info.
