does a silencer really make a difference for making the sound quieter on exhausts? got a skunk2 exhaust LOUD!?
got a civic si 00 with a skunk2 mega flow exhaust, i ordered a sliencer to attempt to make the sound a little quieter, does it realy make a differnce? i hear yes i hear no. let me know!
Yes it actually lowers the decibel out put and will give a slightly deeper tone to it.
One good side effect to the silencer is that it also increases back pressure so since your car is NA this may also increase your low end powerband.
