How will hydraulic rams and accumulators affect the fluid level of the system?
and when Checking the hydraulic fluid level, in what position should each of these COMPONENTS be?
Consider a normal ram...........when it extends, the amount of pressurized liquid that enters the ram is more that the amount of liquid returned to the system.....and vice versa..........these differences are handled by the varying liquid level in the accumulator.
When checking the fluid level in the system, make sure all components are in the positions stated in the Operator Handbook.
