Barcelona - The Beautiful City
Barcelona is a Spanish city which is famous for being a sports destination. The city hosted the Olympics in 1992. It is also the home to FC Barcelona, one of the best football (soccer) teams in the European and Spanish Football League. The city is also known for its Gothic buildings and medieval architecture. The Gothic Quarter is one of the most interesting places you can visit while you are in Barcelona. This area of the city with its narrow streets and ancient buildings of dark stone is known for its Gothic buildings. They were built between 1200 and 1500 AD. The Gothic Quarter is located in the heart of the city. You should plan to visit it during your visit to the city.
There are many places of interest in the city of Barcelona. In Sant Felip Neri is the church of the same name which is constructed in the Baroque style. The walls of the church still bear the shots which were fired during the Spanish Civil War.
