Screw Extractor

Woodworking Series-4
It happens sometimes that screws break on the top of the wood. If it heppens, use pliers to remove them. If the damaged screw is hidden in the wood then it is bettter to leave it as it is. If you can't continiou your work due that screw then use a scew extractor to remove it. Screw extractors are easily availble in woodworking accessories shops. This tool take a plug out of the wood. After removing the damaged screw, insert a glued pin in the hole. After doing all this you can start your work again without any hassle.
If you don't want to buy this tool you can try to dig near the damaged screw until you can grab the end with pliers. After you finish this process you must clean the hole so you can insert a glued pin inside the hole. If you want to cover the hole then make a cap from the same wood material you are using and place it on the top of the hole. After doing this, there will be no more texture discrepancy. Most screw accidents happen when you try to attach hinges. If this happens to you then you must use epoxy resin as this will unite the head with the additional part of the screw. Don't ever try the screw fix method, because this will only rip the wood.

How can you remove a completely stripped screw without a screw extractor?
I tried to drill a hole, but now its just a bald, small hole.
Quit being cheap..........go to Sears and spend 19.95 on a screw extractor bit set. This will save you time, headaches and having to ask people on the internet what to do. You might have even solved your problem already.
