All You Need to Know about Woodworking Router & Shape Jigs
Since its invention early in the 20th Century. the router has become one of the most popular portable power tools-and with good reason(A router is a woodworking tool used to rout out (hollow out) an area in the face of a piece of wood. It was a tool particularly used by pattern makers and staircase makers and consisted of a broad-based wooden hand plane with a narrow blade projecting well beyond its base plate gaining it the nickname Old Woman's Tooth). Few tools can match its speed, accuracy and versatility for shaping wood or cutting joints. But jigs are almost a necessity; although the router can be used freehand, most cuts require a guide-particularly repeat cuts.
The jigs provide various ways of obtaining quick and precise results from your router. Some, like the dadoing jigs reduce the setup time for simple procedures. Others, like the lap joint jig allow the tool to produce multiple copies of the same joint in a few minutes. A relatively new woodworking development, vacuum powered accessories eliminate the need for conventional clamps when routing patterns using a template. The vacuum pump is also useful for securing feather boards to a router table. All of these jigs are easy and inexpensive to build.
The router is larger cousin, the shaper, can perform many operations better than the smaller tool, but it is generally regarded as one of the most dangerous tools in the typical wood shop. A shop made feather board and guards will make it a safer tool.

Is my tranny fried on my Xterra?
I've been noticing an odd vibrating sound coming from my 05 Xterra. It feels and sounds the same like the grooves on the edge of a highway at speeds of approx 60KPH. I noticed that the fluid in the radiator is kinda like a chocolate milk colour. Could there be a crack in the transmission cooling thing-ma-jig?
You are right on the money exactly right the oil cooler inside the bottom of the Radiator has developed a leak the trans fluid is contaminated with coolant too. The vibration like the bass woofers in the car next to you is the torque converter slipping.
All you can hope for is extended warranty or under 6 years and 60 thousand miles and Nissan Good will. I have replaced several transmissions for radiator trans oil cooler failure. Try flushing the cooling system several times and replace the radiator and have the shop preform several transmission flushes. I work for Nissan so I have to warranty my repair for one year. Those 2005 4.0 liter with 5 speed automatic with pink transmission fluid and milky coolant always gets a New Nissan Re-manufactured transmission and radiator. So much for your Christmas Holiday Spending. Expect a real strong wallet lightening (or loan). $3500 to $4,500. Also inspect the drive shaft or 4x4 (2) drive shafts very carefully too.
