Motorized scooter has become a common thing in the market today. Riding these little bikes is so much fun and they will save a lot of money if you are using to get around short distances. These can be very handy to go to local grocery shopping or just to drive around to enjoy a lovely evening. You can save a lot of money on gas as well as the expenditures on a car. These motorized scooters run either on gas or on rechargeable battery power. They are made for two sections of people, the ones that are meant for adults and the other kind is for the children. The scooters for kids are solely for the purpose of entertainment and hence powered lower than those that are meant for adult use. Like mentioned earlier, these are not made for long distant drives or journeys. The driving range of these scooters will only last a few tens of miles. The maximum speed that can be attained is also very low and this is the reason why children are also getting their hand on such scooters. There is nothing much to worry about giving such motorized scooters made for children because they have additional wheel support on the back for balancing and the speeds are also just a little bit faster than normal walking speeds.
Motorized scooters are a boon for the old aged people who cannot walk for long. They can sit on this and go around where ever they need to. These are easy to handle and can be driven on any walkways. Senior citizens have problems with vision all the time and so there are chances of minor accidents that can happen. Nevertheless, these are perfect for needs like going to the pharmacy or for errands. Wheel chairs are put to shame after motorized scooters have come to existence. The electric motorized scooters are more in demand than the gas powered ones. Two things come into consideration for this, first one will be the cost of gas and second one is the cost of maintenance. Electric powered motorized scooters are more Eco-friendly and efficient too. Once charged these can cover about 50 miles of drive around, which is decent in any city driving limits.

Can i use a light dimmer to control Ac motor speed?
The Ac motor is single phase with 220V, 6 A and 1horse power.
Is it possible to use fan regulator to control this ac motor as well?
It is a single phase induction motor with 50Hz.
Well, i am doing a DIY project which is fabrication a prototype axial pump.I plan to use light dimmer to control the motor speed.The pump performance will be determined in different speed.
It strongly depends upon the type of AC motor. A synchronous motor would require a change in AC frequency to change its speed. (Or a change in its wiring configuration for the number of poles in the windings).
A universal motor could use a dimmer to continuously control voltage and adjust its speed to any speed (within reason) .
