i have ruined a screw, the star shape in the screw. HELP PLEASE ? !?
i have to take off the pull start on my motorbike , and i have to unscrew it, but i have tried to unscrew it and the screwdriver keeps slipping causing the screw (star) head shape to break and now a screwdriver wont fit in it, but i really need to take it off. how do i ? !!!
if you can get to the edge of the screw head use a set of mole grips, failing that get a punch & place it on one of the stared bits & tap it round until you can get pliers on,
