A Beginner's Guide To Create Radio Station

If you want to set up such a radio station, you need the follow these step by step procedure

1. Identify the licensing authority for setting up radio stations in your country.

2. Decide the scale on which you want to begin broadcasting. Broadcasting over some frequencies (such as low power FM stations) might not require any license in some countries. A full power FM on the other hand would probably require you to obtain a broadcast license. Apply for a license if it is required for the choice you have made . If it does not require license you can skip it. This would largely depend on the distance over which you wish to be broadcasting.

3. Decide upon the equipments for your radio station. You will broadly need two set of equipments. (a). Radio station Studio equipments – which would comprise of  mixers, computers, audio processors, speakers, microphone and related accessories (b). Transmission equipments – This comprises of a transmitter, antenna, interface panel with remote control, receiver, coaxial cables and power supply equipments. Use the services of radio station equipment vendors to deliver you inexpensive solutions for all your equipment needs.  For more about this read: starting a radio station

4. Decide the place for the location of studio (500 sq ft area to 3000 sq ft. area). The studio should ideally be located at a place with minimal environmental noises. You will need to do some simple sound proofing of the studio space. You will also have to look out for a high altitude place near the studio for installation of antenna. The place for antenna should be so decided as to offer minimal obtrusions from physical structures.

5. Build up a song collection and arrange for royalty payments. Decide the program content for at least a fortnight in advance. You could also obtain some prerecorded programs or could also decide to prepare for live programs. Arrange for appropriate software programs like voice over and fader plug-in for program development. Arrange for D.J /hosts/anchors, co-anchors or what ever you may need.

6. Arrange for some regular supply of funds for running and maintenance of the radio station. This could be done by selling air time to advertisers for commercial radio station set up or through inviting subscriptions for community or Christian radio stations

7. Decide a formal launch date.  You are now ready to broadcast your first program on-air.

Do you get to pick your permanent duty station in the us air force? if not how does that work?

im thinking about joining the air force in January. i would like to have my permanent duty station in Florida. no family there, just always wanted to go there or live in the state.i know sum branches like the marines have a dream list and you get to put three down on that list. after they finish mos. there sent to either 3 if space is available there. does the air force have anything like this?

When you go to Basic Training you'll be filling out the Dream Sheet based on where your job can go. Some jobs can go anywhere, others can only go to three or four. You'll find out in Basic and go from there. You won't find out what your first base is until you get your short sheet at tech school (it's all the stuff you have to do before you out-process at tech school).
The dream sheet is considered to be the dream on sheet, there's no telling where exactly you'll end up. My sheet had all northern bases on it and no overseas. I ended up getting Florida and other people in my class got stuff like North Dakota and California. The good thing about your short sheet at tech school is you can swap with someone in your afsc and a max of two weeks departure date apart. I ended up swapping with someone who wanted to go to Florida, I got Japan out of the deal.
