The Cartier Story
The name Cartier is synonymous with luxury, quality, and style. Founded in Paris in 1847 by Louis-Francois Cartier, the corporate became renowned worldwide for its style and production of lovely jewellery and opulent objets d'art. Is my ear cartilage going to get infected after I changed it right away?
I got my ear cartilage pierced 3 days ago and I changed the ring I got it pierced with (professionally with a needle) to a surgical steel nose stud, because I wanted it to be a tiny stud in my ear. I have been cleaning it 5 times a day with Dial antibacterial soap and saline solution. It's sore, but it's not oozing or bleeding. Will my piercing heal or should I take it out?
You are cleaning it too much! You will also clean away the cells forming that your body need to heal the area. Ear cartilage stays sore longer than any other piercing, so thats normal. I would clean it twice a day with a sea salt/ water mixture. One table spoon to 8 ounces of water. And clean w/ you antibacterial soap once a day when in the shower.
It will be fine and in about 4-6weeks will no longer be sore.
