Choosing the Best Flat Iron
If every day is a bad hair day for you, then you should consider exploring the benefits of owning a flat iron.
Flat irons are miraculous hair tools which have changed beauty routines all over the world by providing those silky smooth locks without the hassle of getting a professional hair stylist to do it for you. For years women have heated up metal irons and even used clothing irons to straighten out their curls, but now it's so much easier! All you have to do is plug it in and press the flat iron together keeping strands of your hair in the middle and slowly pull it downward until you achieve the straightness that you want your hair to have.
But how do these work? Flat irons change your hair structure using heat to modify the chemical composition which gives your hair its natural form. If you're wondering if this heat can eventually damage your hair then unfortunately the answer is yes, but nowadays there are new technologies and materials which avoid such damage and some irons can even improve the condition of your hair.
Flat irons come with different types of plates. Ceramic plates provide an evenly heated surface which makes it easier to style the hair while gently smoothing every strand until you're left with incredibly silky and shiny hair. Another very good choice for a straightener is one that utilizes titanium plates. Titanium is a naturally occurring element that is known for its extreme strength and light weight. They heat up in half the time and do the job twice as quick, making these the personal favorites of professional hair stylists and salons. Tourmaline plates are the most protective and less damaging you can find, they deliver the smoothest, silkiest and healthiest looking hair possible at a very good price. Some irons combine materials for major benefits and results but these are a lot more expensive.
Owning a flat iron will give your hair a new life and will definitely make you an instant head turner. It's a great way to save yourself some money while styling your hair from home but still looking as though you've just stepped out of the best hair salon in town.

How to avoid flat top hair?
Natural curls but flat on top!
Tried tying a bun over my head overnight while wet but you know when your hair is really greasy and you brush through it and you get those strands, thats what it looks like when I do the bun thing. What to do?
Wash it more frequently then.
Don't leave it overnight. I have thin hair and it gets greecy overnight, so I need to wash it everyday.
And for the top part, you can easily pick up a strand spray hairspray and then tease the roots.
