What is supose to hold the headlight knob assembly?

I pulled the panel on that side and I can hold the switch and make it work because it came lose im not sure what is suppose to hold the back of the headlight assembly but mine came lose I might have to pull another panel to screw it back in or snap it in.

But like said im not sure what is suppose to hold it there.
I took a flashlight and it seems it snaps uptop or screws up there but it wont stay.

It depends on the car. A lot of them are held in place by the bezel screw/knob.
