can you connect a Storage tank connected to a water heater.?
I live in Chicago where the water coming from the main is very cold in the winter. I want to use an old water heater as a storage tank and have this connected to my existing water heater. My thought is that I can then have 40 gallons preheating to room temperature before it goes into the water heater to get fully heated. Will this reduce my water pressure? the storage tank will not be burning.
