I think you use the button that resets the milage b/w fillups. The manual tells you how to do it, but I'm an idiot that either can't read or doesen't have the abstract thinking skills to understand what it's telling me to do. Please Help.
I have a 2005 Bmw z4 and my adjustment is made at the end of directional handle. There is a small button that moves from left to right. I wouldn't use the buttons on the dash because one of them resets the tripometer and the other is to set the clock in my car. I don't know if the two are the same but I would try the button on the directional handle after the car is started.
