How do I remover rusted Torx 50 bolts ?
They are part of the fixed Brake Caliper of my Car (Citroen C4) These need to be removed to take of the fixed caliper so that the brake disc can slid off. These are rusted on and simply won't budge. I have the Torx50 socket attachment but no success....what do I try now ?

Having dealt with rusty bolts for a long time I can say the best action is usually heat. With a torx type of fastener you run the risk of "stripping" the teeth in the fastener with either an impact wrench, or a breaker bar. You should always spray some rust penetrant on your fasteners before you attempt to remove them if they are already rusty. If you have access to some type of torch I'd suggest that... Even the small propane torch is very effective and doesn't pose too much of a threat to the delicate seals in your calipers. Good luck...
