A lot will depend on your airline. On most airlines, you are allowed one carry on bag and one personal item (such as a laptop, camera bag, purse, etc.) When choosing a carry on bag, it is best to first consult your airline's carry on baggage allowance. A good bag will fit either under the seat in front of you or in the overhead luggage bins.
