Making a solar powered universal charger?
I am actually designing a universal charger which will use solar energy and it should be able to store the electrical energy for later use.
I am having a bit of a problem designing the circuit layout as i am not sure what electrical components are needed. It will be kind of you if you could tell me what components are needed,m and how the design of the circuit should be.

If I were to do it, for myself at least, I would build a 6V 5W panel, and get a 6V 4Ah SLA battery, using a simple back current diode between the panel and battery. For a lighter more marketabke package, I would likely use Li-Ion type cells, and requisite electronics to control charge and discharge.
For the charger, I would use a switch mode voltage converter to convert to 5V for USB charging, and use a stock NiMh wall charger, modified to work directly from DC in.
If you want something you can assemble, to use, using off the shelf parts, I would use a 15W panel, and one of those totable battery packs, which have 12V outlets, USB, and even 120 or 240V (depending where you are in the world). Use whatever commodity charger you like, on the 12V, USB, or mains outlets.
That said, if you just want one, go buy one. They exist. If this is a school project, I gave you enough to get you started in choosing parts and what sort of circuits may be needed.
